Red Sparrow Tea Company – In Memory of our ANZACs

Each year vibrant red poppies stir to life in the field of Europe, marking the beginning of Spring. Ever since these flowers sprang up on the battlefields of Belgium and France in the year of 1915 they have been synonymous with the terrible loss of life in the First World War. The Flanders Poppy is now an internationally recognised symbol of Remembrance.

It connects us with the memories of those who have died in war and brings us hope through its use as a “memorial flower” to raise funds for the families who have suffered as a result of war. The Poppies collection has been exclusively designed for the Australian War Memorial by Ashdene PTY Ltd. These are now available in-store at Red Sparrow Tea Co. A complete set of cup, saucer or mug, pot, and creamer is a lovely gift idea or great way to celebrate over a cup of Australian Eucalyptus tea.
