What is a Maker's Market?

A Maker’s Market is an event where local artisans, crafters, and creators come together to showcase and sell their handmade/designed goods. Maker’s markets provide a platform for artists and crafters to connect with their community, share their talents, and sell their creations directly to customers.

When and where does the Maker's Market take place?

The Maker’s Market takes place weekly on Thursdays and is located on Level 1 of Gowings Coffs Central outside Kmart.

What can be sold at the Maker's Market?

Maker’s Markets often feature a wide variety of unique handmade/designed items such as art, jewelery, clothing, home decor, and more.

How can I book a stall?

To secure your space at the Maker’s Market, all you need to do is complete the above form.

What are the opening and closing times of the Maker's Market?

The Maker’s Market is open to customers from 9am – 2pm every Thursday

What are the bump in instructions for the Maker's Market?

Bump in can commence from 8am on the morning of your registered Maker’s Market day. All Market Carts and Trestle Tables will already be set up in the location. Keep your eyes peeled for your name allocated on your cart/table. Please do not move any names around or any Carts around, please set up only at the space that has been allocated to you.
Once you have set your stall up, please ensure all trolleys (no Kmart trolleys are to be used) are removed from the centre.

Please also remember to bring a chair. Parking is all-day on the top levels in the car park.

What is the price to have a stall at the Maker's Market?

The fee to have a stall at the Maker’s Market is $20 and must be paid at the concierge desk sometime throughout the day on the day of the market.

 

What do I need to bring along to the Maker's Market?

We will provide you with either a Market Cart or Trestle Table for the Maker’s Market. You will need to just bring your items and a method to take payment for your sales eg. Square/cash/etc.

Is Public Liability Insurance required for the Maker's Market?

No public liability insurance is needed to participate in our Maker’s Market – simply bring your goods and enjoy the vibrant community atmosphere!
